London ranks sixth in the UK for the percentage of people who love their job even while having the highest average salary.
Experts at Meditopia, a mental wellness app, analysed data from Glassdoor for all companies in the UK with more than 1000 employees and determined only 15.61% of employees in London love their jobs.
Bristol topped the list with 16.24%, with Redding and Cambridge not too far behind, and Blackpool was deemed the unhappiest workplace with 9.81%.

Meditopia co-founder and CEO Fatih Mustafa Celebi said: “This research is useful for both employers and employees.
“Employers can identify areas where improvements may be necessary in work culture, while employees can see how work environments in their city or town compare to the rest of the UK.”
Meditopia considered any company with a four-star rating and higher given by employees to be considered a job where it’s employees are deemed to be loving it.
In London, the average rating was 3.491 stars out of 5 with Bristol at 3.495 out of 5.
Celebi claimed companies can increase happiness by promoting a positive work culture.
Celebi said: “Companies can improve staff happiness and wellbeing by recognising employee achievements, asking employees for input and promoting a good work-life balance.
“A positive work culture is crucial, as it can help improve work ethic, productivity, and staff turnover.”
